I’mmmelting!
My brain, post-ATP. If last year’s anything to go by, it’ll probably be the only sunshine we see all summer.

YCN have hooked me up with Orange. I’d never heard of them, but apparently they do things with mobile phones. Whatever they are. Here is one of the images I’ve prepared for them. It’s about sharing, because sharing is good.

A Dire Straits reference that my dad would be proud of, I am quite sure. Hell, I’m proud, there’s no shame in it.
Uh… anyway, head over to Break MTV to see what all the fuss is about, and be sure to click on the blank canvas with spilt paint on the floor below it. Many thanks go to David and Anrick at unit9!

This is my submission for a recent open brief from Amelia’s Magazine… robots picking lightbulb fruit from trees that grow out of buildings. With hover boards and jet packs. it’s quite clearly the most perfect future imaginable. Duh.
Click for the big picture.

I’ve illustrated a Boredoms album review for Plan B before, but this time I got neon and gradient fill all over it. Expect some updates to the site perdy soon, possibly including a background that doesn’t induce epileptic seizures. Possibly.

So, to accompany this new-fangled blog o’ mine I’ve also entered new illustrative territory – the gradient fill. Please, reserve your judgement until you’ve seen it in all it’s bigness (click click)… Once again, it’s for the wonderful Plan B Magazine and is to accompany a review of Talib Kweli’s album Ear Drum.

Yup, that’s right. That’s another incomprehensible fine mess I’ve got myself into. I’m bringing back the brown. See it in the June issue, it’s all about the OPTIMO.

An illustration for one of my current post-punk favourites The Pop Group, who are about to reissue a re-mastered version of their Y album. READ ALL ABOUT IT in Plan B.
